We welcomed back nine children on our return to Pre-school at the beginning of September.  Numbers are low and we are looking to recruit more children throughout the term.  We are able to provide a secure, stimulating environment in which children are able to grow and learn at their own pace.

Reflecting on our practice, we recently sent out a survey to parents and one of the kind comments received back was:

'I cannot praise Brington and Whilton Pre-school highly enough.  A nurturing, stimulating environment which allows children to grow and learn under the guidance of superb staff.'

More comments are available for viewing on our website.

In June, wth no warning, Ofsted visited us for our inspection.  Happily they were pleased with our progress and we received a 'Good' grade which was pleasing to staff, committee and parents.  A lot of hard work goes into running the Pre-school and it is encouraging to see that it is recognised and appreciated.  Some of the comments received in the Ofsted report were:

'Individual needs and requirements are known and respected and excellent relationships have been formed between staff, children and their peers.'

'Staff work extremely well together and demonstrate a clear commitment to developing the service.'

'Excellent levels of communication take place between parents and practitioners, which ensures children's ever changing needs are effectively met.'
